I normally unbox beauty subscription boxes on here, but today is a subscription box of a slightly different kind. I'm sure savvy readers have noticed that I include tea in my empties (which are otherwise mostly skincare). The two things I'm completely obsessed with at the moment are using face masks, and drinking tea. I normally buy tea from T2 and any other tea place I can, rather more frequently than I should. I have a love of dark black tea, but I also like to mix it up and drink fruit tisanes or flavoured black teas. I'm not a huge green tea fan, although I occasionally indulge.
Recently, I was over the moon when I discovered an Australian monthly tea subscription. I couldn't believe my luck when I contacted Tea with Alice to ask if they shipped to New Zealand and they said yes! Their customer support is wonderful, and despite me applying a day after their cut-off, they sent me out the March box rather than make me wait an agonizing 6 weeks for the April box.

Happy Mail March 2015

Another month of beautiful stationary has arrived! I really love the variety of wacky cards that you get, and I'm really excited to start sending some of these out to my friends. Now that I have so much free time (no more thesis, woohoo!), I can start sending mail to my friends.
Happy Mail is a monthly subscription run by A Beautiful Mess, and includes various cards and postcards, stickers and other stationary items. It is between $15-$20USD, and this depends on the length of time you subscribe for. This subscription is only $2 extra for international shipping.

Beauty Review Beauty Box - March 2015

Bright and early my Beauty Review Beauty Box arrived. I wasn't sure that was what it was as the size was completely different to last time, but I have been dying to receive this. I bought it for about $50 back in December, and have been excitedly waiting for the last few months. The last box was so amazing, and I'm experiencing a major need to open this box up quick!
P.S. Sorry for the less than ideal lighting. It was very early morning and raining when I took these photos, and artificial light looked pretty terrible. Apologies!

Foodiebox - March 2015

Foodiebox is the food baby of Goodiebox. I assume they are run by the same company as their websites look the same and the person running their Facebook pages does the same kind of posts.
This is a bi-monthly box which costs $39 plus shipping. I have been curious about this box since it started (being a Goodiebox customer originally) so am keen to see what a box is like. I'm interested in food (who isn't when it is what our bodies demand for life), but I'm not a massive foodie. I also don't have any special dietary needs so I can eat whatever I want.

Flora and Fauna Autumn 2015

I was watching one of my favourite YouTuber's last week, and she was unboxing an Australian subscription box called Flora and Fauna. I loved the look of it, and promptly bought myself a year's subscription. The box comes out quarterly (every 3 months), and Messy was unboxing the Autumn box. I thought I would get the next box when it came out, but the Autumn box turned up on my doorstep today! I'm excited to see this box, even though I already know what's in it.
The box is $35 a box, and shipping to NZ was around $10. I bought a year's subscription for $135 or so, with $40 shipping. I think this is worth it, but I can see it is on the more expensive end of subscription boxes.

Lush Unicorn Horn Review

I got this lovely Unicorn Horn Bubble Bar from Lush as part of a prize from a wonderful group on Facebook. I had to invade someone else's house in order to use it, but it was worth it. Next time I'm flat hunting, a bath is a necessity!

For the love of Memebox ...

As many of you will know, Memebox stopped shipping internationally as of the 10 February. This made me really sad, although I hadn't been that into their recent boxes anyway. I had a few points to use up, but abandoned them as I felt really betrayed by Memebox, and particularly disliked the way they had been ignoring international customers since their move to California last year. I'm pretty torn as to whether to blog the rest of the Memeboxes I have sitting at home, and that's why there haven't been any Meme unboxings this month.
All the nastiness aside, I received this box from a friend. She has been obsessed with Memebox for a lot longer than I have, and kindly sent me a box of random products she didn't want, or hadn't gotten around to using. I'm really excited to see exactly what she has given me (and identifying what some of them are). Let's see if there are any double ups with what I've already accumulated.
